Frequently Asked Questions

General queries
What is included in a day charter?
Our day charters include a professional crew, local cruising fuel, a welcome drink, wine (rosé, white) & beers, soft drinks, light snacks (fresh fruits, pastries or local tapas), towels, and VAT. Many of our yachts also come equipped with water toys such as paddleboards, snorkels, or Seabobs. Catering upgrades, premium drinks, or custom experiences (like private chefs or transfers) are available upon request.
How long is a typical day charter?
A standard day charter runs for 7 to 8 hours, usually starting between 10:00 and 11:00. We can tailor timings to suit your plans, including sunset departures or half-day charters are available. Half a day will be 3 hours as well as the sunset.
Where can we go during a day charter in the Algarve?
You can cruise west towards the Benagil Caves, Praia da Marinha, the lovely village of Ferragudo or head east to the Ria Formosa islands and Culatra. We’ll help you plan a route based on the sea conditions, your interests, and where you’d like to stop for lunch or swimming.
Can we stop at a beach or restaurant?
Yes and we highly recommend it. We work with top beach clubs and restaurants along the coast and can help arrange reservations, tender transfers, or private dining onboard if preferred.
Are the day charters suitable for birthdays, proposals, or special events?
Yes! We regularly host celebrations, from romantic sunset proposals to stylish birthdays and corporate events. Let us know the occasion and we’ll tailor every detail including decorations, flowers, champagne, music, aerial message or photography.
How many guests can come onboard?
Guest capacity depends on the specific yacht, typically ranging from 8 to 12 guests for most day charters. Larger group options are available on request.
What do I need to bring?
Just your swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, your favourite music playlist and a sense of adventure! Most of our yachts have Bluetooth sound system allowing to cruise along the coastline listening to your favourite tunes.
Do you only offer yachts in Vilamoura?
Not at all. While Vilamoura is our main hub, we work with trusted local partners all along the Portuguese coast... from Porto and Cascais to Albufeira, Lagos, and beyond. Whether you're looking for a luxury day charter, sunset cruise, or bespoke multi-day itinerary, we can arrange it wherever you're staying.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety always comes first. If weather conditions make it unsafe to depart, we’ll do our best to reschedule your charter. If that’s not possible, we’ll offer a refund or credit in line with our booking terms and partners.
Are your yachts all Sunseekers?
While we specialise in Sunseeker yachts, we also offer access to other exceptional brands including Ferretti, Azimut, Princess, and custom superyachts especially for international charters or larger group requirements.
How do I book a day charter?
Simply get in touch via our website, email, social media or mobile (Whatsapp). Let us know your preferred date, number of guests, and any special requests and we’ll recommend the perfect yacht and itinerary for your experience.

Weekly Charters
Can I book a weekly charter in the Algarve?
Absolutely. Weekly charters in the Algarve are ideal for guests who want to explore the region in-depth, enjoy multiple anchorages, and experience life onboard at a slower, more indulgent pace. Weekly charters can also include overnight stops, water sports, private chef services, and bespoke itineraries.
Do you offer charters outside of Portugal?
Yes. Through our global network, we can arrange luxury yacht charters in the South of France, Balearic Islands, Greece, Italy, the Caribbean, and other dream destinations. Tell us where you want to go, and we’ll handle the rest.
What’s typically included in a weekly charter?
Weekly charters usually include the yacht and crew, basic insurance, and standard marina berths. VAT and an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) of around 30% is added to cover fuel, food, drinks, moorings, and special requests. A detailed expense report is provided at the end of the charter.
Can I customise my charter experience?
100%. From the itinerary and dining to music playlists and water toys, every detail can be curated to suit your occasion whether it’s a birthday, proposal, family getaway, or client entertainment.
Are weekly charters suitable for families with children?
Yes many of our yachts are family-friendly and offer child-safe environments, including baby gates, life jackets, shaded areas, and water toys suitable for all ages. Let us know your family’s needs and we’ll recommend the most appropriate yachts.
What should I pack for a week on a luxury yacht?
We recommend lightweight clothing, swimwear, non-slip deck shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a good book. Most yachts provide towels, toiletries, hairdryers, and water sports gear. If you have dietary needs or preferences, we’ll ensure your crew is informed before departure.
Can I personalise the food, drinks, and experiences on my weekly yacht charter?
Absolutely. Before your charter, we’ll send you a detailed preference sheet where you can list your favourite foods, preferred drinks, dietary restrictions, sleeping arrangements, and activity interests from paddleboarding to sunset cocktails. This allows your crew to tailor every detail of the onboard experience to your exact tastes, making your charter as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
How far in advance should I book a weekly charter?
For peak summer months, it’s best to book your weekly charter at least 3 to 6 months in advance. For international destinations or specific superyachts, booking even earlier is recommended to ensure availability and allow for itinerary planning.
